Globe Library after Vaugondy
♥ Our Globus "library" with classic wooden leg shows a mapping from the time of the 18th Century. The card is printed well and offers an exceptionally beautiful reproduction of the map of Didier Robert de Vaugondy (1723 - 1786), a cartographer of Louis XV.
The globe is a replication of the maps originally produced in a complicated gravure printing process which offers a distinctive edge to the lines, words and symbols. The globe itself is like the old originals from papier-mâché made.
